ISMS-AC contributes to the international activities of accreditation bodies

The IAF is the world association of Conformity Assessment Accreditation Bodies and other bodies interested in conformity assessment in the fields of management systems, products, services, personnel and other similar programs of conformity assessment.

Its primary function is to develop a single worldwide program of conformity assessment which reduces risk for business and its customers by assuring them that accredited certificates may be relied upon. Accreditation by signatories of the IAF Multilatetal Arrangement (MLA) assures the competence and impartiality of the accredited bodies and reliability of their certificates.

ISMS-AC was admitted to the APAC (then PAC) in 2006 which is a regional group of the IAF in the Asia Pacific region. ISMS-AC was also admitted to the IAF in 2007 and signed the ISMS MLA (called MRA in APAC) subsequently.
